 Lionel Messi, Argentina’s talisman has broken a new world cup record. The PSG player and multi-Ballon D’Or award winning legend netted a penalty in the ongoing Argentina v Saudi Arabia game at the Qatar World Cup 2022.

Messi is now the first Argentinian to score in four FIFA World Cups. 

He scored in 2006, 2014, 2018 and 2022 respectively. The legend will be hoping to win the World Cup as this might just be his last. Techscoops earlier reported that Messi’s last World Cup might be Qatar according to a statement attributed to him.
