Portugal hammered Nigeria Super Eagles by four goals ahead of their World Cup campaign. The Portuguese defeated a rather poor Nigerian side netting two goals in the first half and another two in the second half.

Manchester United striker Bruno Fernandes found the back of the net twice for Portugal — scoring a regular one and converting a penalty kick. Mario and Ramos scored the remaining two goals in the concluding half.

The Super Eagles fired blanks, losing a golden opportunity with a missed penalty!

Nigeria’s Emmanuel Dennis missed scoring the weak spot-kick. The Portugal goalkeeper Rui Patricio pushed the ball against the post denying Jose Peisero’s men a goal-scoring opportunity.
